2022  community investment:

Prior to announcing the results of United Way of Mower County's 2022-23 Community Campaign, it is important to reflect on the impact of UWMC's 2021-22 Community Campaign now that the 2022 Community Investment cycle has concluded.

As a reminder, funds raised through UWMC's Community Campaign each fall/winter are strategically allocated to local nonprofits through the Community Investment process each spring. That begins the one-year Community Investment cycle in which UWMC supports local nonprofits with funding that is critical to the life-changing services they provide.

2022 - 2023 community campaign:

When you give to United Way of Mower County, you're not just giving to a good cause, you're causing something good to happen. As a United Way supporter, the lives you impact may be those of a neighbor, friend, or even a family member. Whether in day-to-day activities or times of crisis, the impact is real. UWMC's Community Campaign raises funds to support social service programs in four focus areas: quality education, financial stability, access to health care, and meeting basic needs.

UWMC concludes its annual campaign having raised $1.174 million thanks to more than 2,500 charitable contributions. Read on to learn where funds have been invested and why; but first, check out the supporters who make this work possible:
