Who?

Students entering Preschool through 12th grade in a Mower County school for the 2025–2026 school year.

What?

Eligible families can apply for each school-aged child to receive one pair of new school shoes. When students are equipped with basic essentials like proper footwear, they are more likely to start the school year prepared and ready to succeed.

When?

The one-day shoe shopping event at Shoe Sensation is set for early August, with the exact time to be announced. Families will receive a scheduled time to visit the store, where students can select a new pair of back-to-school shoes, up to a $50 value.

Eligibility & Event Guidelines:

  • Household must meet ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) income guidelines.
  • Meeting income criteria does not guarantee a free pair of shoes; selection is based on need, program eligibility, and available resources.
  • Only the selected student(s) are eligible to receive shoes.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany the student(s) to Shoe Sensation.
  • Student(s) must be present to receive their shoes.
  • Each selected student will receive one pair of shoes, up to $50 value.
