Join United Way for our annual Day of Caring event! Day of Caring connects compassionate community members with local organizations and individuals in need of a helping hand. Volunteers can choose to participate in a variety of service projects and supply drives from September 16 - 24.​

SEPTEMBER 16
Service Project: packing snack kits with Matter to benefit local organizations and programs that serve youth 
Supply Drive: collecting non-perishable food items to benefit local food shelves 
September 16 activities are in collaboration with Hormel Foods. Be sure to stick around for the community celebration concert!

SEPTEMBER 19
Service Project: packing dental hygiene kits with Children's Dental Health Services to benefit local youth 

SEPTEMBER 20
Service Project: assisting Mower Council for the Handicapped with yardwork, painting, and cleaning medical equipment

SEPTEMBER 21
Service Project: assisting the Austin Park, Recreation, & Forestry department with Todd Park clean up 

SEPTEMBER 22
Service Project: assisting The Salvation Army with facility upkeep and sorting donated food items

SEPTEMBER 23
Supply Drive: collecting clothing, winter gear, and personal hygiene items to benefit local students through the Success Closet

SEPTEMBER 24
Service Project: assisting local senior citizens with lawn maintenance, exterior cleaning, and other outdoor home projects

Individuals, co-workers, friends, family, and teams are all invited to participate!
