Day of Caring is moving to the Fall
Moving Day of Caring to the fall makes sense for a variety of reasons. Seniors typically need more help in the fall to prepare for winter and with Community Pride Day falling on the last Saturday in April United Way felt that it would be a benefit to the community if there was more time in-between the two events. A new date has been set.
4th Annual Day of Caring
Saturday September 26, 2009
2009 Day of Caring Team Registration Form
2009 Volunteer Consent Form
2009 Day of Caring Information Flyer
2009 Day of Caring Project Request Form
2009 Day of Caring Homeowner/Agency Consent Form
This year's Day of Caring will be in memory of Loren Peters. Loren was a wonderful volunteer at United Way and a great friend. He was very committed to helping those around him and was excited about being our Day of Caring Chair. We dedicate this one day where we can come together to help one another to Loren.
Now is a great time to start thinking of forming a team for this community wide event. Watch our website and local media for more information on Day of Caring. If you have any questions please give United Way a call at 437-2313. |
